So, even a short one, so you all know that I still doing well!

I come in recent years not to write much. Most things are now not as noteworthy as the day has finally taken hold.
Here, however, the demolition of what I have done so in recent weeks: We had our

intermediate exams! There was a reading comprehension part, ne verbal score for the Conversation class and a character part. Latter, I'm projecting about as complete with 6 of 30 points - because yes, that comes out of it, if you learn nothing. Well it, I tried. ... I have that book and almost had to hold.
Well, the other part of it I had 86 points, or percent, am I not quite sure which of the two now. The oral Note ... Well, we say it has some genuine as a relaxation term: The teachers here are too nice to give bad grades, so it is with us only A, B, C, with intermediate steps by + and -. I think anyway, that by the tests are not covered here can, at least we can not even repeat them.
with my B + I am therefore very pleased. Directly afterwards, the

Doshishaferien. Out there, to celebrate the founding of the Doshisha (which is today). Many universities have so ne-free week, as it seems. There is increasing day UNIFEM, on which all clubs with food stalls. This should get you as a prospective student an idea of the range that offers the Uni Sun
There is just funny. :)
I could not pass up, so I'm there ...

... and was overwhelmed by the incredible number of stalls. Extremely wide range of food for relatively little money was offered of shield-bearing, sometimes costumed students. The "Offer" saw it in such a way that said label support in the way of a throw, hold up her sign and ask if you want to buy right now what not. Decline is not, because they sometimes seem downright broken, so that one is almost tempted to buy something, and if only out of pity. At best, we learned after a while, still you do not want first, because then you have the first seller on the cheek.
was the beauty that make all Japanese people (at least those who wanted to turn on one was) were totally open and have now talked to one, no matter whether foreigners or not. It will run not always quite as off.
If you actually bought what later where they were also very happy:)
There were concerts. Like all things that make Japanese were, of course, the total toll. Unsympathetic people, the Japanese, who can do everything. After few year-olds have heard Mozart play, I'm depressed. Was certainly nice to hear.

The festival is now over, however, so that everyday life goes on again tomorrow. Well, everyday ... On Friday, it goes to a traditional Japanese hotel with hot spring! We go from 1-2. Through December. The fun will cost a total of just 10,000 yen (which are about 66 €).

is Right after the performance, dance in which, among other things, we show, tea ceremony, or (as in my case) playing Koto. This is interesting. We are all stuck in kimono and then allowed to show our existing game hopefully coast.
The hall is the same on my host mother has occurred. Which is really nice!

is a pity because we had our last Kotostunde last Saturday ... It really showed me was fun, learn an instrument times! And it was not even that expensive. I could well imagine, Koto continue in Germany, it would not be so difficult to get to classes. The instrument would not be times as expensive (for an instrument which). In any case, our teacher offered us to go on, because if we wanted. Would cost 5000 yen just to February. Anyway, I'm there.

The vacation was even something of a cultural nature:
I was in two exhibitions, which have also really worth it.
First, the issue of Sakuji Yoshimura, an Egyptologist at the famous' Waseda University (and for all who are interested in the field, he still should not have heard: He has a lot with Howard Carter together, including the grave of Tutankhamun discovered). Apart
the fact that I the man is totally great find for any Reasons (perhaps because he looks somewhat similar to my grandfather?), The exhibition was simply rewarding! Of course I bought included a book in which all of the exhibits are shown with an explanation, so I can show again to anyone who would like then.
had not been so expensive, I would like too went in again! The second was
ne exhibition on ceramics in Kyoto. It amazes me how many objects have been preserved so well! Was definitely really nice, I had not previously thought that I could look at me with enthusiasm for two hours vases and tea cups.

temple there were, but this time something interesting than usual in Japan at present is just the fall foliage season, and the area around Kyoto is it apparently also popular. During this time there is in almost all temples so-called Light Ups, in which night the temple and the gardens are illuminated.
with my host mother, I was in Hiyoshi Taisha (shrine) and the Saikyo-ji (temple), both in Otsu and both little known by tourists as it seems. That was a funny spontaneous action, after dinner we jumped up and drove off to see if we are lucky and the temples are illuminated. And I've
many shaky pictures made, which I will put up soon. There is also one of my host mother, which was not so easy!
It may well not to be photographed. I meant to state that I so badly could come home without a picture of her, because I have yet to show everyone who I since almost half a year had lived. They dodged and said I could even have a picture of him dancing - but it's not running around every day, this is also not true. It would also not my mother happy, when I come home without pictures, I said.
The photo then I also get when a couple stopped us and asked whether or not they could get a picture of them. The two were allowed to make a picture of us - "but a good, otherwise it becomes an international problem," as my host mother said. Is still blurred, but maybe you can see a little something.

the Shore-in, a famous temple this time, we were to light up. A girlfriend had gotten a gift card for it, so we could go to third. Unlike the Light Ups at Hiyoshi Taisha and the Saikyo-ji, it cost the Shoren-in money (except for us kindly). But it was worth it ...! There were games right light. The bamboo forest in the garden they have lit up blue, which has worked really impressive, and otherwise threw very impressive! The images thereof are exceptionally not blurred, but too dark. Well, at least pictures!

That's it again from my side. After Hotel and visit the show returns the next entry!
